Andrés Reisinger returns to Dubai with his latest work exclusively crafted for Gallery Collectional.
Back in 2022, during Art Dubai, Argentinian visual artist and designer Andrés Reisinger took Dubai by storm with his Sun/Leaf installation. This time, he is introducing Winter Collection, a limited-edition furniture series crafted exclusively for Gallery Collectional.
This thoughtfully curated ensemble, featuring a sofa, armchair, divider, lamp, and blanket, will debut in a solo exhibition at the gallery’s Dubai space, opening February 6th, 2025, accompanied by a set of digital artworks. Drawing from the gentle transition of winter, Reisinger envisions a serene interior infused with warmth and protection.
Known for blurring the lines between the digital and physical, Reisinger returns with his first comprehensive furniture collection in years. Inspired by the acclaim of ‘Winter House’, a virtual residence co-created with architect Alba de la Fuente in January 2022, he once again turns to winter as his muse. Winter Collection captures the quiet elegance of the season, where frost-kissed whites and silvery blues dominate, creating a tranquil, reflective space. Each piece harmonises soft textures with conceptual sophistication, inviting us into a sanctuary filled with warmth and refined simplicity.

“Collaborating with Gallery Collectional again is a true pleasure. Our first project, Sun/Leaf, celebrated the playful beauty of nature. This time, we delve into winter’s serene magic and comforting stillness. Designing interiors is about evoking warmth—a delicate contrast to winter's chill. Exploring this dynamic intrigued me and became the foundation of this collection.”
At the core of the collection is the striking Winter Sofa, inspired by the shifting light of a winter sky. Its dramatic silhouette and plush upholstery mimic the fluid motion of the northern lights, creating a visually and tactilely warm experience. The sofa’s gentle, snowdrift-like curves strike a perfect balance between strength and serenity, offering a protective, glacial oasis for ultimate comfort.
Complementing the sofa, the Snowdrop Armchair envelops with its cocoon-like shape. It seamlessly blends avant-garde design with everyday functionality, its textured surface reminiscent of frost-layered landscapes. Beneath its cool, intricate exterior lies an inviting softness, embodying winter's contrasting essence—cold on the outside, warmth within.
Adding dimension and intimacy, the Bow Divider draws from the aesthetics of fractured ice formations. Its translucent panels allow light to pass through, casting dynamic, dance-like patterns across the room. Both functional and artistic, its minimalist geometry encourages an exploration of light, space, and the subtle shifts they create.
The Lamp stands tall as an ode to geometric poetry. Its ethereal design diffuses a soft, ambient glow, reminiscent of the gentle warmth of a winter sunrise breaking through cloudy skies. With its understated elegance, the lamp offers a quiet, comforting presence without overpowering the space.
Completing the collection, the Canvas (Blanket) serves as a tactile masterpiece. Inspired by the Snowdrop Armchair's textures and nature's wintry elements, it’s lightweight yet insulating. Draped over the body, it provides the soothing comfort of fresh snow, weaving together natural textures into an intimate, sensory experience.
Through Winter Collection, Reisinger masterfully fuses contrasts—ice and warmth, structure and flow—into a cohesive story of balance and transformation. Reflecting on nature’s profound yet tender shifts, the collection reimagines winter not just as a season, but as an experience to be felt, celebrated, and embodied through both physical comfort and aesthetic beauty.
The exhibition at Gallery Collectional creates a moment suspended in time. Each piece, presented in a minimal yet inviting space, speaks for itself, subtly echoing the essence of winter.
